Summary of Events: Norbeck Road Fatal Collision

The following is a brief summary of events regarding a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday, March 22, near the intersection of Norbeck Road and East Gude Drive.

At approximately 3:09 a.m., 1st District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a single-vehicle collision with rollover.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a gray 2025 BMW was traveling eastbound on Norbeck Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed the median into the westbound lanes, left the roadway, and landed in a trench.

Upon arrival, responders located three adult males. Two were pronounced dead on scene and the third was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this fatality. A news release will be issued when more information becomes available, including the names of the decedents, following proper notification of next of kin.
