Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, to Focus on Impact of Life Sciences Companies & Improving Access to Shady Grove Region

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing happening Thursday, Sept. 12, at 1:30 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss Montgomery County’s role as a top 3 spot nationally for life sciences companies. He will also talk about the benefits of launching two new bus routes to help commuters better access businesses in Rockville and Gaithersburg as well as the Shady Grove Metro station. The County Executive will also talk about the importance of protecting reproductive freedom in Montgomery County. This week’s guests will be:
- Ulyana Desiderio, senior director of strategic industries, Maryland Department of Commerce
- Dr. Brad Maron, co-executive director, University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
