Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the 900 block of Loxford Terrace in Wheaton. Detectives have released video and photos of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
The investigation by detectives has revealed that the victim was on his way home from school when the suspect robbed him at knife point and stole his his clothes. Moments later, the suspect was filmed with a cell phone leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately between 15 and 18-years-old. The suspect is approximately 6-feet, 1-inch tall, with a thin build, brown eyes and black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a grey Under Armour zip up jacket, grey Under Armour joggers, black Under Armour shoes, a dark blue Under Armour backpack and a surgical mask.
