Montgomery County Earns 39 National Association of Counties Achievement Awards – MocoFeed

Montgomery County received 39 National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Awards for 2025. Since 1970, the NACo Achievement Awards have recognized exceptional county government programs and services.

Through an open application process, these awards highlight innovative and effective programs across a broad range of County responsibilities.

“Montgomery County is proud to receive 39 NACo awards,” said County Executive Marc Elrich. “These recognitions demonstrate the creativity and dedication of our County departments in meeting the diverse needs of our community. From strengthening public health and safety to promoting economic opportunity and sustainability, they reflect our commitment to serving all residents. I want to thank our County employees for their hard work and innovation in making Montgomery County a welcoming and thriving place for everyone.”
