Detectives Investigate Pharmacy Prescription Fraud; Surveillance Photos of Suspect Released

For Immediate Release: Thursday, March 13, 2025

Gaithersburg, MD –

The preliminary investigation has revealed that, since March 2024, an unidentified female suspect has been fraudulently picking up prescribed medications under other people’s names.

The suspect obtained prescription medication from six different pharmacies, including Safeway and CVS locations in the District of Columbia, Arlington, Alexandria, and Kensington.

Surveillance photos show the suspect at the prescription counter at several Safeway and CVS locations.
