The preliminary investigation has revealed that a Toyota RAV4 struck a cable barricade within the parking garage entrance area for reasons that remain under investigation.
The adult female driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead on scene.
An adult male passenger in the Toyota was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
