Detectives Investigate Derwood Armed Robbery; Suspect Photos Released – Mocofeed

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy that occurred on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the 17600 block of Redland Road in Derwood. Detectives have released surveillance photos and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
 
The investigation has revealed that at approximately 5:35 p.m., three suspects – two males and one female, entered the pharmacy holding a small child, approximately 2 to 4-years-old and began stealing merchandise. When the suspects attempted to leave the store, a store employee confronted them. One of the male suspects brandished a knife and threatened the employee. The suspects then fled the store with the stolen merchandise.
