Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and Bethesda Green to Announce Relaunch of Green Business Certification Program on Thursday, April 25 – MocoFeed

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Bethesda Green will announce the relaunch of the Montgomery County Green Business Certification Program at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Bethesda Green offices in Downtown Bethesda.

Bethesda Green is located at 4825 Cordell Ave., in Bethesda. The event is open to media and the public.

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, Montgomery County Council President Andrew Friedson, DEP Director Jon Monger and local small business owners will help kick off the Green Business Certification Program relaunch outside of the Bethesda Green offices.

Bethesda Green also will be celebrating the re-launch of their Sustainability Innovation Center. The space will serve as a co-working space for small businesses, a demonstration center for innovative solutions and a green business incubator for local entrepreneurs.

Following the ceremonies, attendees will be invited to an open house to see the remodeled Bethesda Green offices and learn more about the Green Business Certification Program and Bethesda Green’s Incubator and Rain Garden programs. Local businesses and organizations will also have information available.
