Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8.
The County Executive will discuss the launch of a new online portal for residents to report Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity and share a safety warning after two swimming deaths in the Potomac River this summer. His guests this week are:
- County Council President Natali Fani-González
- Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Luisa F. Cardona
- Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Earl Stoddard
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’connor@montgomerycountymd.gov on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
