Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8.

The County Executive will highlight WorkSource Montgomery’s programs for returning citizens and provide an update on the Federal Workforce Career Center. As the County Council holds public hearings on his proposed operating budget, the County Executive makes the case for education and retaining social services. He’ll also discuss a new partnership with Leadership Montgomery to help businesses and nonprofits navigate federal procurement changes. His guest this week:

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’[email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
