The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:

- Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #26-77 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Public Schools, Planned Life Cycle Asset Replacement: MCPS (No. 896586), $602,651 (Source of Funds: Aging Schools Program).
- Resolution to approve an Amendment to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) and Supplemental Appropriation #26-79 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), Sustainability Initiatives (No. 652306), $3,222,655 (Source of Funds: State Aid)
- Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #26-83 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Public Schools, Technology Modernization (No. 036510), $1,518,337 (Source of Funds: Federal Aid)
- Expedited Bill 23-26, Weapons – Restrictions on Ghost Guns Near Minors and Carrying of Firearms in or Near Places of Public Assembly, would define terms related to weapons and firearms; regulate the sale or transfer of ghost guns with respect to minors; amend exceptions to a prohibition against carrying firearms in places of public assembly; amend the regulation of the operation of gun shops; and generally amend the law regarding firearms and other weapons.

- Bill 15-26, Taxation – Property Tax Credits – Habitat for Humanity Rehabilitation, would create a tax credit for properties owned by Habitat for Humanity with the purpose of rehabilitating and transferring to a new owner in the near future; and generally amend the law regarding property tax credits.
- Expedited Bill 16-26, Consumer Protection – Amendments (Financial Exploitation Protection Act), would permit the Office of Consumer Protection to operate a voluntary mediation program; define the term vulnerable adult under the consumer protection law; prohibit, as a deceptive trade practice, the use of deception, intimidation, or undue influence to obtain money, property, or services from a vulnerable adult; prohibit, as a deceptive trade practice, the use of deception, intimidation, or undue influence to obtain money, property, or services from an individual who is at least 68 years old; and generally amend the law regarding consumer protection.
- Bill 17-26, Motor Vehicles and Traffic – Speed Monitoring Systems Authorized – Amendments, would authorize the use of speed monitoring systems within certain school zones; authorize the use of speed monitoring systems on certain highways in the County; and generally amend the law regarding motor vehicles and traffic control.
- Expedited Bill 24-26, Buildings – Building Permits – Data Center Moratorium, would define data centers; establish a temporary moratorium on the issuance of building permits for a data center; and generally amend the law regarding data centers.

- The Council will hold a public hearing on the University Boulevard Corridor Plan Sectional Map Amendment (SMA) H-161, which is a comprehensive rezoning application to implement the zoning recommendations contained in the Approved and Adopted 2025 University Boulevard Corridor Plan.
