A lifelong public safety professional, Reidy-Hall grew up in Baltimore County and is a graduate of Hereford High School. She attended the University of Richmond from 1997 to 2001, graduating magna cum laude with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Immediately following graduation, she entered the Police Corps academy with HCPD and went on to build a distinguished career serving in a wide range of leadership and operational roles.

During her time with HCPD, Reidy-Hall held positions in patrol operations at all ranks, the Office of the Chief, Research & Planning, the Community Outreach Division, and as Deputy Division Commander of the Southern District. She also served on the department’s Critical Incident Negotiations Team (hostage negotiations) for 14 years, including six years as Commander.

Most recently, she served as Commander of HCPD’s Communications Division for three-and-a-half years, overseeing 911 operations and emergency communications. Reidy-Hall was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in 2015 and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, where she served as Vice President of Class #438.

She and her husband, Jason, a fellow HCPD officer of 29 years, both retired from the department in April 2025. Together, they have a family of four children between the ages of 14 and 23.

Director Reidy-Hall brings years of experience in emergency communications and crisis response, along with a strong background in public safety leadership. We’re glad to have her join MCPD.
