Detectives Investigate 7-Eleven Armed Robbery

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the 7-Eleven in the 12250 block of Tech Road.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of an armed robbery.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that the suspect entered the store, walked to the employee side of the counter, displayed a handgun and stole two packs of cigarettes, before leaving the scene.

Detectives obtained surveillance photos of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a medium complexion Black male, approximately 30 to 40-years-old, bald head, 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a black winter coat, grey pants and black sneakers.
