Weekly Media Briefing with Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, to Focus on ‘Fair Share’ Taxes

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing starting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.

This week the County Executive will discuss his support of Governor Wes Moore’s Fair Share for Maryland Act of 2024. He will testify on behalf of state tax reform in Annapolis before the media briefing.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at by 1:30 p.m. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

Due to a late change to the start time of this week’s media briefing it will not be broadcast live on County Cable Montgomery . You can view it live on the County’s Facebook page.
