Below are Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s (MCDOT) and partners’ transportation-related schedule changes for the Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday, Nov. 27.

MCDOT offices - Closed.

Ride On extRa Pink and extRa Lime bus service – Will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Ride On Flash bus service – The Orange Route will operate on a Weekend/Holiday The Blue Route (typically, weekday only) will not be in service.

Ride On extRa (Route 101) and Flex bus service – Will not be in service.

TRiPS Silver Spring commuter store – Will be closed.

TRiPS mobile commuter store – Will be closed.

Public parking garages, lots, curbside meters – Free on Thursday, Nov. 28, payment resumes Friday, Nov. 29.

Metrorail and Metrobus – Metrorail will operate on a “Reduced Sunday Service” with trains running from 7 a.m. to midnight. Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Friday, Nov. 29 Metro will operate on a regular schedule.

MARC Train – No service on all three lines. On Friday, Nov. 29 the Penn Line will operate on a Saturday schedule and there will be no service on the Brunswick and Camden lines. Learn more at mta.maryland.gov/marc-holiday-service.

MTA Commuter bus – Will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, with the exception of Route 201 (Gaithersburg – BWI Business District), which will operate on the Weekend/Holiday “S” schedule on both days. Learn more at mta.maryland.gov/thanksgiving-day-service.
