TONIGHT: Montgomery County Executive Elrich to Join MoCo Pride Center for LGBTQ+ Arts and Cultural Event to Kick Off Pride Month “Live In Your Truth”

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will join the MoCo Pride Center at 6:30 p.m. in Silver Spring to kick off Pride Month with a flag raising during “Live In Your Truth”, an arts and culture event designed to celebrate and educate the LGBTQ+ community.
MoCo Pride Center will lead all activities, which include live entertainment, a pop-up art market and wellness screenings provided by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
MoCo Pride Center will also announce the winner(s) of the “ Pride in the Plaza” official t-shirt design contest. The t-shirt with the winning design will be given away at Montgomery County’s annual “Pride in the Plaza” celebration, scheduled for noon – 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring.
The MoCo Pride Center is a 501(c)3 organization that serves the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in Montgomery County.
