Three MCPS students have each been awarded $120,000 scholarship to Midland University after placing in the Top 5 of the National American Miss (NAM) Maryland and Virginia State Pageant. The competition was held July 9–12, some areas of competition included a personal interview, personal introduction, and evening wear. The scholarships were presented during the pageant’s finale on July 12.
The scholarship recipients are:
