The Montgomery County Department of Transportation is Hosting a Public Forum on Proposed Changes to Ride On Bus Routes 43, 63, and 66 on Tuesday, July 2 – MocoFeed

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is proposing to change Ride On bus routes 43 , 63 , and 66 .

Beginning Sept. 8, the new Ride On extRa Lime and Pink Routes will provide high-frequency service to the Great Seneca area, between Shady Grove and the Universities at Shady Grove. With the addition of this new, high-frequency service, Ride On bus routes 43, 63, and 66 will be adjusted to provide more efficient local service.

For additional information prior to the public forum regarding these proposed changes, please visit the Ride On website at rideonbus.com and click “Public Forums” under “About”.

All are welcome to attend the public forum that will be held at College Gardens Elementary School, multi-purpose room, 1700 Yale Place, Rockville, or join virtually on MS Teams on Tuesday, July 2, at 6:30 p.m.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who would like to speak at the public forum are requested to furnish in writing by email, on or before Thursday, June 27, their name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and organization to Division of Transit Services, Ride On Public Forum at [email protected] . Individuals who have signed up to speak must provide a printed copy of their testimony for the record by Monday, July 1.

Sign language interpreter services will be provided upon request with notice as far in advance as possible but not less than five (5) business days prior to the date of the forum. Large print format is available upon request. All comments will be considered before any changes are finalized. Public feedback and information provided will become a matter of public record.

Written testimony will carry the same weight as spoken testimony. Comments may be written, faxed, or e-mailed on the proposed service changes to the Division of Transit Services by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 12. Send your comments to:
