More than 1,000 students and 240 partner organizations were celebrated at the on Thursday, July 23 at Seneca Valley High School. During the event, students had the opportunity to network with host organizations and their peers, and hear from local leaders and Summer RISE alumni.
Over the summer, rising juniors and seniors gained hands-on, career-based learning experiences and helped employers cultivate a talent pipeline. The program is made possible with the collaboration of local businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. Participants earned a $500 stipend while exploring careers that matched their interests.
