The following is a brief summary of events regarding a Gaithersburg homicide.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 8:14 a.m., 6th District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 8500 block of Snouffer School Road for the report of a working code.
When officers arrived, they located a 37-year-old female, inside of an apartment suffering from trauma to her upper body. Officers attempted lifesaving measures until Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female victim has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
At this time, there is no suspect information available.
The Major Crimes Division Homicide Unit is investigating this case. All information provided is preliminary.
