Montgomery County Council President Natali Fani-González issued the following statement on the passing of former Maryland State Senator Karen S. Montgomery.
“Montgomery County mourns the loss of the Hon. Karen S. Montgomery.
“We reflect on her outstanding career in public service, including more than a decade of service representing Montgomery County’s 14th District in the Maryland General Assembly.
