Search Warrants Lead to Arrest of Rockville Man and Seizure of Drugs, Stolen Guns, and CashÂ

Gaithersburg, MD – Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Community Action Team have arrested 33-year-old Elijah Bell of Rockville. Bell faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance not cannabis, and multiple firearms charges. Â
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, members of the 4th District Community Action Team, along with detectives from the Special Investigations Division, executed multiple search warrants as part of a months-long investigation into Bell’s suspected drug distribution activities. Â
During the search, officers recovered approximately 2,726 grams of cocaine, nearly 10 pounds of cannabis, two handguns, and roughly $10,000 in U.S. currency. Â
Further investigation revealed that Bell is prohibited from possessing firearms because of prior convictions. Detectives also determined that both handguns had been previously reported stolen. Â
Bell was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is currently being held without bond. Â
