3,500 Randomly Selected Households Will Be Asked to Respond

Rockville’s biennial survey is being conducted for the second time since the pandemic and will begin arriving in some city mailboxes in late September.

The community survey — which provides an opportunity for residents to rate their satisfaction with the quality of life in the city, the community’s amenities and local government services — is conducted every two years.
The 2026 survey will be the city’s 12th and will be sent to a random sample of 3,500 households throughout Rockville over a roughly three-week period, starting in late September.
Those households will first receive a postcard letting them know the survey will arrive about a week later. Surveys can be completed in print or online.
Survey results help the city improve the quality of services to the community. The online option will provide the survey in several languages and translation services will be provided for those who need further assistance.

Responses will be anonymous. Visit rockvillemd.gov/survey to see the 2024 survey results, and those from 2026, when published.
