For Immediate Release: Sunday, January 25, 2026

Due to the sustained below freezing temperatures and poor road conditions, Ride On will be operating the S Service Schedule on Monday, Jan. 26. The US 29 Flash BRT Orange route will utilize 40-foot Ride On buses, which provide better traction on snowy roads, instead of the standard Flash-branded 60-foot articulated buses. Riders should anticipate possible service delays and detours.
Please be advised that MCDOT will be monitoring weather conditions throughout the day and if road conditions become unsafe for us to operate, bus service may be reduced or terminated early to ensure the safety of riders and staff. MCDOT Ride On’s first priority is safety. In the event of excessive ice and continued deteriorating conditions, buses and riders may be at risk of being stranded. Please only travel for essential trips. We will closely monitor the weather and provide timely updates throughout the day via social media, our website and text alerts to subscribers.
