Due to construction, detours will impact select routes at the Silver Spring Transit Center on Monday, Aug. 21, and Tuesday, Aug. 22 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Details of the detours can be found below.
- Route 1 to Silver Spring: From 2nd Avenue, left on Colesville Road to Discovery Building (stop 15572). Leaving Silver Spring: Right on Georgia Avenue, right on Wayne Avenue and left on Colesville Road.
- Route 2 to Silver Spring: Straight on Colesville Road to Discovery Building (stop 15572). Leaving Silver Spring: Right on Georgia Avenue, right on Wayne Avenue and left on Colesville Road.
- Route 9 to Silver Spring: From Colesville Road, left on Georgia Avenue, right on Wayne Avenue, right on Colesville Road to Discovery Building (stop 15572). Leaving Silver Spring: Continue straight on Colesville Road.
- Route 12 to Silver Spring: From Colesville Road, left on Georgia Avenue, right on Wayne Avenue, right on Colesville Road to Discovery Building (stop 15572). Leaving Silver Spring: Continue straight on Colesville Road.
- Route 16 to Silver Spring: Continue straight, left on Wayne Avenue to next to the Planet Fitness Building (stop 2005434). Leaving Silver Spring: Left on Georgia Avenue, right on Colesville Road.
- Route 28 to Silver Spring: From Colesville Road, continue straight to Discovery Building (stop 15572). Leaving Silver Spring: Right on Georgia Avenue, right on Wayne Avenue, left on Colesville Road.

- Bay 107 – Route 2 (unchanged)
- Bay 105 – Route 28 (unchanged)
Level 2:
- Bay 222 – Route 9 (will share with Route 15)
- Bay 227 – Route 16 (will share with Route 17)
- Bay 231 – Route 1 (will use Shuttle UM)
- Bay 232 – Route 12 (will share with Route 5)
