Planning Director Jason K. Sartori taps Bridget Broullire to be one of two department deputy directors

Wheaton, Md. – The Montgomery County Planning Department , part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) , has announced Bridget Broullire as its new Deputy Director of Administration following a national search. Broullire will oversee Montgomery Planning’s Communications, Management Services, Information Technology & Innovation, and Research and Strategic Projects divisions. She will serve alongside Deputy Director Robert Kronenberg, who oversees all the area planning divisions, the Countywide Planning and Policy Division, and the Intake and Regulatory Coordination Division. Both deputy positions report to Planning Director Jason K. Sartori.

Broullire has been serving in the acting capacity of her new role since January 2024, and she had been the department’s Communications Division Chief since 2020, guiding the strategic communications approach for more than 25 master plans and numerous projects and policies. Broullire started at Montgomery Planning as the Communications Manager in 2013. Throughout her tenure, she has served as an advisor and communicator for the Director’s Office and the Montgomery County Planning Board, with a focus on equitable engagement and community inclusion in the planning process.
