Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing on Thursday, March 28 at 2 p.m.
This week the County Executive will discuss his recent trip to Taiwan to attend an energy summit and develop economic development partnerships. He will also discuss why Earth Month is so important in Montgomery County, where we continue to be a leader in climate and environmental progress.
This week’s guests will be:
- Sarah Kogel-Smucker, Montgomery County Climate Change Officer
- Jon Monger, director, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at by noon on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
