From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., officers will focus on speeding and failure to move over for stopped vehicles, particularly law enforcement officers conducting traffic enforcement. The goal is to ensure the safety of officers, emergency responders, and stranded motorists by reminding drivers of their legal responsibility to slow down and change lanes when approaching stopped vehicles with flashing lights.

This initiative will include participation from Maryland State Police, Maryland Transportation Authority Police, and officers from Howard County Police Department, who will conduct enforcement efforts along the Howard County portion of US 29 up to Interstate 70.
