Montgomery County Graduates ‘Vision Zero Youth Ambassadors’ and Peer Mentors – Mocofeed

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) hosted the Vision Zero Youth Ambassador Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, May 16. Speakers included Chris Conklin, director, Dr. Earl Stoddard, assistant chief administrative officer, Montgomery County Police Officer Marcus Lee, and Wade Holland, Vision Zero coordinator.

Ambassadors and peer mentors received certificates and earned 1,311 hours for active participation.

Ambassadors received certificates and earned up to 46 Student Service Learning hours for active participation. Youth Ambassadors were tasked with planning and executing Safety Day, a free family-friendly event focused on pedestrian, bike, and traffic safety. The next opportunity for high school students to apply to the program will be in Fall 2026.
