Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday, July 5 starting at 12:30 p.m.

This week the County Executive will be discussing some important transportation initiatives, provide an update on rental assistance and explain the County’s role in the Healthy Babies Equity Act. The County Executive will be joined by:
- Chris Conklin, Department of Transportation, Director
- Christine Hong, Department of Health and Human Services, Chief of Services to End and Prevent Homelessness
- Christopher Rogers, Department of Health and Human Services, Policy and Strategy Officer
The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at by 10:30 a.m. the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

If you are not a member of the media and/or cannot gain access to participate, the briefing can be viewed live on the County’s Facebook page. It is also available on County Cable Montgomery at Comcast/RCN Channel 6 and HD Channel 996 or Verizon Channel 30.
