Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing Set for Wednesday, Feb. 28, to Focus on Gun Safety Efforts

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing starting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.
This week the County Executive will focus on gun violence prevention efforts with Joanna Pearl, a leader with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America – Maryland.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at by 10:30 a.m. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
If you are not a member of the media and/or cannot gain access to participate, the briefing can be viewed live on the County’s Facebook page and County Cable Montgomery at Comcast/RCN Channel 6 and HD Channel 996 or Verizon Channel 30.
