Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 12:30 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss extremely dry conditions in parts of Montgomery County and the state’s restrictions on open fires with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Chief Corey Smedley. He will also give his thoughts on night’s Presidential election and the unofficial results that are still being tabulated by the Board of Elections.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
