Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, to Focus on Pride Month, Immigrant Heritage Month and Divisive Trump Administration Policies on LGBTQ+ and Immigrant Communities

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
The County Executive will discuss the Pride flag raising on Tuesday and why continuing to advocate for the LGBTQ+ community is so important. He will also talk about the opening of the newest MCPD police station to better serve residents in Montgomery Village and the Gaithersburg area. The County Executive will also focus on Bethesda after it was named one of the county’s top places to live. His guests this week will be:
- Dr. Amena Johnson, LGBTQ+ Liaison, Office of Community Partnerships
- Monica Jeffries Hazangeles, President and CEO, Strathmore
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
