Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, to Focus on Biotech Business Recruitment, Political Protests and Previewing Juneteenth

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18.
The County Executive plans to join the briefing from his trip to Boston for the BIO International Convention. He has spent the last several days speaking to dozens of companies about relocating or setting up additional space in Montgomery County, the heart of the nation’s third-ranked life sciences hub. He will also talk about his participation in local No Kings protests and preview Juneteenth activities in Montgomery County.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
