Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, to Focus on Protests, Civil Unrest and the Role of Police

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11.
The County Executive will react to the unrest in Los Angeles and the fear created by federal actions within immigrant communities and will discuss the role of Montgomery County police during protests and why it does not participate in immigration enforcement. His guest this week will be:

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
