Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, to Focus on New ‘Climate Smart’ Campaign and Environmental Priorities

Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 12:30 p.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will highlight the new Climate Smart campaign which encourages residents to make small changes in their lives to help combat climate change. He will also discuss the County’s sustainability goals considering changes at the federal level. His guests this week are:
- Sarah Kogel-Smucker, Climate Change Officer
- Jon Monger, Director, Department of Environmental Protection
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
