Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, to Focus on Impact of Federal Layoffs

Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 12:30 p.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will react to an increase in layoffs among our federal workforce and related companies. He will also discuss his support for the Good Cause Eviction bill, currently being considered by state lawmakers. He will also preview next Monday’s renaming ceremony in Rockville honoring former County Executive Isiah “Ike” Leggett.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
