Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, to Focus on New Portal for Hate/Bias Reporting & Homelessness Challenges

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 11:30 a.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will discuss efforts to make it easier to report hate/bias incidents in Montgomery County. He will also talk about efforts to address a growing demand for homelessness services. The County Executive will also discuss plans to honor former County Executive Ike Leggett. This week’s guests will be:
- Jordan Satinsky, Community Engagement Division Captain, MCPD
- Kate Chance, Faith Community Outreach Manager, Office of Community Partnerships
- Christine Hong, Chief, Services to End and Prevent Homelessness
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
