Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 22.

The County Executive will discuss why May is such an important month for tourism in Montgomery County and highlight the effort to support the WorldPride festival. He will also share his thoughts on finalizing the FY26 Operating Budget and discuss economic development efforts to attract new businesses.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
