Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, to Focus on the FY26 Budget, Big News for North Bethesda & Gov. Moore’s ‘Fed to Ed’ Program

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28.
The County Executive will give his thoughts on the completion of the Fiscal Year 26 Operating Budget. He will also talk about Tuesday’s announcement of a lead developer selected for the North Bethesda Metro Station project, something he envisions will be the ‘next Kendall Square.’ And he’ll talk about his visit to Montgomery College yesterday as Gov. Wes Moore put a spotlight on his ‘Fed to Ed’ program, helping displaced federal workers find a new career in education.
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
