Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, to Focus on the Recommended FY26 Capital Budget and Amendments to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program

Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive is pleased to share his Recommended Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Capital Budget and amendments to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program. He will discuss some of the updates needed in large community improvement projects that will help improve public safety, our schools, expand childcare options and refurbish some of our libraries. The County Executive will also discuss the untimely death of a firefighter in the line of duty this past weekend. His guests this week are:
