MCDOT’s Commuter Services Section conducts the travel survey every two years. The feedback helps transportation planners understand how commuters get to work. Participants age 18 or older who complete the survey will be entered into a weekly drawing to win a $25 gift card and a grand prize drawing for a $250 gift card.

Fareshare provides employees working within Montgomery County up to $325 a month to cover expenses incurred using Ride On bus, Metrobus, Metrorail, MTA Commuter bus or MARC train. It also covers expenses for vanpools, as long as the employee commutes to and from a workplace within Montgomery County. Employers must contribute $25 per month per employee receiving the benefit.
