Montgomery County Department of Police Retail Theft Initiative
For Immediate Release: Wednesday, November 27, 2024
As we enter the holiday season all six police districts will be providing extra police presence in and around retail districts.
Each District Commander will use resources, both visible and undetectable, including patrol officers, foot patrols, bike patrols, plain clothes officers, camera systems as well as Drone as First Responder to protect retail areas and provide a sense of safety for business owners, employees, and shoppers.
We want everyone to feel safe as they shop and gather to enjoy the holidays.
