The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:
Sept. 9, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.
Declaration of No Further Need – Montgomery History Disposition, Grey Courthouse
Sept. 16, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is Sept. 15 at 2 p.m.
Subdivision Regulation Amendment (SRA) 25-02, Technical Review – Optional Method Workforce Housing Development , would prohibit the creation of flag lots and through lots under workforce housing optional method development, limit the number of consolidated lots for workforce housing optional method development to 3 lots, and generally amend the subdivision requirements for optional method workforce housing.
Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) 25-11, Temporary Commercial Uses – Temporary Telecommunications Facility , would create a Temporary Telecommunications Facility use, create an approval process for Temporary Telecommunications Facilities, and generally amend the provisions for telecommunications towers and temporary commercial uses.

To testify in-person or remotely during a live public hearing at the Council Office Building, residents need to preregister on the Council’s web page . Residents may also choose to provide pre-recorded testimony in written, audio or video formats or submit testimony by mail.
