Montgomery County Council to Hold Public Hearings on June 10, 2025

The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:
June 10, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is June 9 at 2 p.m.
Bill 13-25, Licensing and Regulations Generally – Picnics, Dances, Soirees, and Other Entertainment – Amendments , would prohibit an unlicensed party for gain or profit to which the general public is admitted with certain exceptions, establish the penalty for violation of the prohibition against an unlicensed party for gain or profit at a residential property to which the general public is admitted and related violations in the same occurrence, and generally amend the law governing licensing and regulations.
Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) 25-06, Vehicle Service – Filling Station , would amend the setback requirements for a Filling Station, amend the applicability of a nonconforming use to a Filling Station, and generally amend the development requirements for a Filling Station.

To testify in-person or remotely during a live public hearing at the Council Office Building, residents need to preregister on the Council’s web page . Residents may also choose to provide pre-recorded testimony in written, audio or video formats or submit testimony by mail.
