The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:
July 29, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is July 28 at 2 p.m.
Resolution to approve an amendment to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program and Supplemental Appropriation 25-88 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions, Montgomery Connects (No. P341700), $6,171,823 (Source of Funds: Federal Aid $6,128,167; Contributions $43,656)

Expedited Bill 27-25, Environmental Sustainability – Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) – Established , would establish a community choice aggregator, set forth certain requirements of the community choice aggregator’s operations, and generally amend the law regarding environmental sustainability in electricity supply.

To testify in-person or remotely during a live public hearing at the Council Office Building, residents need to preregister on the Council’s web page . Residents may also choose to provide pre-recorded testimony in written, audio or video formats or submit testimony by mail.
