The Montgomery County Commission for Women will host the Women’s Legislative Briefing (WLB), Maryland’s longest-running women’s policy event on Saturday, Jan. 31. This year’s theme “Stronger Together: Leading with Vision, Voices, and Values” will feature elected officials, policy experts, and emerging leaders focused on strengthening opportunities for women and girls statewide.
Breakout sessions include:
- Advocacy and empowerment strategies
- Economic justice and equity
- Reproductive health and rights
- Human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence prevention
- Emerging Leaders track for grades 6-12
