What: Maryland Green Party Annual Assembly

At this year’s assembly, the Maryland Green Party is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The group was first recognized as a political party committee by the State Board of Elections in August of 2000.
The party’s Assembly will include:
– Panels including founding members of the Maryland Green Party and candidates for 2026 offices;
– A film screening of an award-winning student film on minor political parties produced by Montgomery County middle school students, featuring Maryland Green Party representatives (https://www.studentcam.org/2025-1st-prize-middle-school-one-party-two-party-red-party-blue-party-but-what-about-third-parties-by-sofia-ou-eva-ingram-eliana-wei/)
– Remarks on the party’s vision for future growth and its role in the anti-Trump, pro-democracy opposiiton movement
Speakers to include:
– Dr. Jared Ball, Professor at Morgan State University, author and media personality
– Andy Ellis, candidate for Governor of Maryland
– Moshe Landman, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives (District 6)
– Nancy Wallce, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives (District 8)
– Renaud Brown, candidate for Maryland House of Delegates (District 45)
