The Council created the Infrastructure Funding Workgroup by Council Resolution 20-745 on March 18, 2025. The workgroup’s goal is to recommend strategies to fund infrastructure and growth-related needs in the County. The Council determined that this workgroup was necessary as it reviewed the 2024-2028 update to the Growth and Infrastructure Policy (GIP) and Bill 16-24: Development Impact Taxes – Amendments. The workgroup will present its findings on or before Aug. 28, 2026.
If residents are unable to attend a listening session, feedback can be submitted through the online questionnaire. The questionnaire is available in multiple languages, including Amharic, French, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese.
Interpretation services are available if requested at least five business days prior to the listening session date. Contact Bertha Cerzosimo (240-777-7871 or bertha.cerzosimo@montgomerycountymd.gov) to request interpretation services.
