Graduating With More: Students Earn High School Diplomas and Associate Degrees

Nearly 450 students were honored in a dual-enrollment recognition ceremony on May 19 at Montgomery College. These students graduated with a high school diploma and an associate degree through Montgomery College.

Students reached this milestone through the Early College, Middle College (MC2) at Northwood and Northwest high schools, Virtual Middle College, the Pathways in Network & Information Technology (P-TECH) at Clarksburg High School and Jumpstart to College programs.

Maryland Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, Montgomery College President Dr. Jermaine Williams and MCPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor addressed the honorees. Student speakers from Northwest, Clarksburg, Gaithersburg and Quince Orchard high schools also shared reflections on their dual-enrollment experiences.
